Community Preparedness Workshops

Emergency Management continues its monthly Community Preparedness Workshop – launched last year – that provides general preparedness information, practical tips, and strategies to keep households safe and ready for emergencies. Officials encourage the community to visit www.FlaglerCounty.gov/emergency or call the Emergency Operations Center at 386-313-4200 to learn how to: register for ALERTFlagler emergency notifications, get a copy of the Emergency Preparedness Guide, and learn more about available community training opportunities. 

The information available from Emergency Management includes how to:

  • Get a disaster kit
  • Make a disaster plan
  • Be informed about the risks of the Flagler County community
  • Become involved in community preparedness
