Vilano Beach celebrates the wealth of local musical talent and culture with a 2-day festival.
Vilano Fest is a celebration of the music, history, and local character of Vilano Beach. The festival will take place from Friday, April 20 to Saturday, April 21, 2018. The festival is made up of three major events: The Sea Turtle Soiree, the Tour of Homes, and the Music Fest.
The Sea Turtle Soiree is a party that will take place on the Vilano Beach Pier. The party has a "Gatsby" theme and guests are encouraged to dress up. Local singer Ramona and her band will perform. Tickets to this event include dancing, dinner, a 1920s party, and a cash bar with wines, craft beer, and cocktails. The soiree is Friday night at 6 p.m. on the pier.
The Tour of Homes offers visitors a glimpse into the different architectural styles in Vilano Beach. The tour is limited for those requiring wheelchair accesibility and some homes may not allow children under 12. The tour is on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. departing from Poplar Avenue and Vilano Road.
The Music Fest will feature nine musical acts, including local favorites Amy Hendrickson and Sam Pacetti, perrforming in front of the Oceanview Lodge on Anahma Drive. There will be other live entertainment for the whole family, including Dance USA, Legacy Irish Dancers, Dewey Via, Chelsea Sadler, Joe Schauer, and Crawford Boyd. Guests can also browse food and drink vendors and arts and crafts booths.
Admission: Early bird weekend passes are $75 each + fees.
When? Friday and Saturday, April 20 & 21, 2018. Starts at 6 p.m. on Friday Night, and at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.
Where? Vilano Fest will take place at the Vilano Beach Town Center. The Sea Turtle Soiree is at the pier. The Tour of Homes starts at Poplar Avenue and Vilano Road. The Music Fest is at the Nature Boardwalk County Park.
