The Lunch N’ Lecture Series Special Guest NASA!

Palm Coast Astronomy Club member and volunteer NASA Solar System Ambassador Lee Bentzley will make a presentation on the total solar eclipse to be seen in the United States this summer at the next Lunch N’ Lecture, set for Friday, May 19. The Lunch N’ Lecture Series is offered by Palm Coast Parks & Recreation Department.

 

The “Total Solar Eclipse” Lunch n’ Lecture will be 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Palm Coast City Hall, 160 Lake Ave. The Lunch n’ Lecture is free, with light lunch included, but pre-registration is required by 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 17 (while space is available). Bentzley will give an overview on the upcoming total eclipse, to be seen from Oregon to South Carolina on Aug. 21. He will explain what an eclipse is and how to protect your eyes if you have the opportunity to view this once-in-a-lifetime event.
